Why FarmHouse

Cost

FarmHouse Fraternity is a much more affordable living option than the dorms on campus. Living in the dorms is over $3000 more expensive per year than living at FarmHouse.

Community Involvement

Our chapter puts on multiple philanthropies a year, including donating to Toys for Tots of Champaign County and Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Our members take pride in having at least 10 hours of community service each per semester.

Social Life

Not only is FarmHouse a great place to make lifelong brothers, but you can also make numerous connections with sororities and fraternities across campus. Socials planned throughout the year include tailgates, game nights, and turning the chapter house into a miniature golf course.

Academic Success

FarmHouse has a long history of academic success. In the Fall of 2020, our members finished among the top 10 fraternities in GPA out of 37 with a 3.64. Three 24/7 quiet rooms, free printing, and free tutoring has helped our men succeed in the classroom.

Professional Development

Each semester our chapter hosts a variety of events to help our members grow professionally. Some of these are a Career Fair Panel, Resume Review, and Graduate School Information Night. Upon graduation our seniors have a 100% placement rate in jobs or graduate school.

Alumni Network

The Illinois Chapter of FarmHouse Fraternity boasts a large, extensive alumni of multiple majors. We host several alumni events throughout the semester and invite them back for events we host.
