The Gamma Chapter of FarmHouse Fraternity at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign offers multiple scholarships to incoming students of all majors that will be attending the university the following year of applying. In 2023, the Illinois Chapter gave out over $15,000 to incoming students in scholarships. In 2024, we plan to give out more depending upon a qualified pool of candidates. Scholarships range from $500-$4,000.
To be eligible you must be a male student who will be attending the University of Illinois for the first time during the next fall semester. All majors are encouraged to apply.
Note: First-time students are considered to be high school seniors beginning their freshman year or students transferring to the U of I.
Application Process: The application process for the First Time Student Scholarships involves two steps: the written application and interview. Applicants wishing to be eligible for the scholarships must first submit the written application by 11:59PM on April 14th, which can be found below. Finalists will then be selected based on their applications and invited to interview with a panel of current members and alumni on April 27th. The scholarship winners will then be notified shortly after. Finalists who are unable to attend the interview date will be asked to conduct a phone interview.
